In the Ghanaian music industry, some musicians have made their marriage a very interesting one, which has gained them much respect and applause from many. The likes of Okyeame Kwame, Sakordie, and Stonebwoy just to mention a few, are perfect examples of beautiful couples when we talk about marriage. They have made their marriage life a very simple but interesting one.
This follows an interview with Dr. Louisa Ansong-Satekla, wife of award-winning Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy, by Berla Mundi at TV3 onThe Day’s Show. During the interview, she said everyone should at least find someone who will support them to achieve their goals in choosing a partner.
When asked by Berla Mundi If thinks she married too early and why couldn’t she wait, she replied“Why wait?, so I think you know life is not you know a linear process where you have to wait to accomplish this get a 100% success in this before you move to the next stage. if it happens and you feel like it’s right and you have the support of your family, you just go for it.”
She further went on to say because she is an ambitious and “goal-oriented person”, and so is Stonebwoy, she saw that as a green flag to accept his proposal. Stonebwoy used to quiz her after she had studied to be sure of what she has studied and also to make sure she wasn’t dozing off and that made her love him more.
She advised that in choosing a partner, one should look for someone who is ready to help, push and support you to achieve your goals and vice versa.
