Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian movie icon, has made her name in the Ghanaian movie industry with her beautiful display of talent on the screen. Her fluency in the English language landed her so many movie roles, both in the Ghanaian and Nigerian movie industries.
She won the hearts of many globally after she played the role of a princess in the movie “Princess” in 2007.

Biography;
Yvonne Nelson was born on November 12, 1985, in Accra, Ghana, to Mr. and Mrs. Nelson. She’s half Ga and half Fante. She grew up in Accra and attended St. Martins de Porres School, situated in Dansoman. She is a former student at Aggrey Memorial Senior High School. Old student at Central University and Zenith University College and studied human resource management. Yvonne Nelson earned a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2020. She’s the last of four children.
She has one daughter named Ryan Roberts with her ex-lover, Jemie Roberts, born on October 29, 2017. She broke up with him due to reasons personally known to her. Even though she had dated a lot of men, she still remained unmarried.
Career;
Yvonne Nelson was once a contestant in the most prestigious Miss Ghana pageant held in Ghana. She then starred in her first movie, Princess Trya, in 2007, in which she played the role of a wicked and disrespectful princess. After which, she had a lot of characters in many Ghanaian and Nigerian movies.
Her love for acting and entertainment made her start her own movie production in 2011. Her first movie was ” The Prince,” followed by other movies likeSingle and Marriedin 2012 andHouse of Goldin 2013. She has won a lot of awards and honors due to her spectacular movies. She named her production “Yvonne Nelson Production” (YNP).
