You can now activate WhatsApp disappearing Messages feature to make messages disappear after 7 days of texting someone in the latest WhatsApp update. This way, you can save space on your phone because every message, including media files, between you and someone, is deleted. This method is useful for college students who want to share trial questions, businessmen who share business messages with their customers, and so on.
Here’s how to enable WhatsApp disappearing messages feature.
- Open your WhatsApp App
- Head to the chat window
- Select disappearing messages
- Tap on okay or continue if prompted
- Head back to the chat window; you will see the disappearing messages logo
Disappearing messages are now activated.
This will apply to your new WhatsApp messages. Please note that the messages will disappear after seven days, the same steps can be applied for group chats.
