Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie who has made a tremendous wave, raising the standard of music in the Ghana music industry, as well as making every Ghanaian proud with his effort to sell Ghana music to the world, is set to headline this Year’s DMV party.
The proud Ghanaian musician, after the release of his JAMZ album, has never rested on promoting his album by going on tours.
Sarkodie’s hard work and dedication have been recognized by the organizers of the biggest Pan African Summer Festival as he was set to be the headliner of the DMV party in the park in Virginia.
The DMV Party in the Park is an annual event to bring together individuals from all walks of life to celebrate the neighborhood. The D.C. metropolitan area festival includes live music, visual arts, fashion, food vendors, games, and much more. It will be held at a neighborhood park.
Last year’s edition featured Ghana’s own entertainment minister D-Black, Down flat hitmaker Kelvyn Boy and Ebaby Kobby, a popular comedian, activist, and YouTuber.
However, this year’s edition is going to be lit as Sarkodie being the headliner with his captivating presence on stage. His blend of hip-hop, highlife, and Afrobeat which has garnered him a massive global following making him a true icon of African music.
The celebratory mood will definitely be amplified by Sarkodie’s performance, inspiring guests to sing along, dance, and celebrate togetherness.
