Adjetey Annang publicly known as Pusher published his memoir with the theme “Adjetey Annang”.
The book of imperfection and resilience comes after a few weeks of the publication of Yvonne Nelson’s memoir “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” which caused many controversies on social media platforms.
The book “Adjetey Annag” however gained attention and discussion when the“Things we do for Love” actor made a stunning revelation about his marital life and what his family has endured.
Chapter Nine of the book mainly focussed on his marital challenges and imperfections, 7 years of expecting a child, and the perplexity his family has gone through.
The award-winning actor admitted that he cheated on his wife Elorm Annang both emotionally and physically which happened decades ago. “Yes, I have cheated on my wife, both emotionally and physically.” He said.
According to Adjetey, a thing that started out of naivety on his side with the opposite sex grew to the point where he was rather flirtatious with the women.
“You could say I was naive from the start about subtle amorous hints and perhaps made a lot of assumptions about people’s motives till it was too late. Soon, I got bolder, more daring and adventurous and sometimes I initiated flirtatious conversations and led many on. I have been in very compromising situations with ladies. Some started as admiration and fun and after frequent chats, developed into flirting and occasionally went too far,” he stated.
However, Adjetey admitted his mistakes and took responsibility for his actions, and went further to offer a heartfelt apology to the women involved in his inappropriate behavior.
“To each and every woman who has been part of this journey with me, I humbly apologize for my inappropriate behavior. Forgiving myself has been a struggle, and these experiences have marked the lowest points in our marriage, nearly tearing us apart. I am immensely grateful for God’s grace, Elorm’s forgiveness, and the unwavering love that has kept us resilient during those dark times,”
