Jadon Sancho has angrily responded to comments made by Erik ten Hag, the Head coach of Manchester United, that he hasn’t been giving enough effort in training.
In the last few games when this season’s premier league started, the Manchester United forward has not been featured in any of the premier league matches and had no involvement in Manchester United’s defeat at Emirate stadium with Arsenal.
Ten Hag was, however, asked about the reason for the absence of Sancho, and he stated that the player has not been performing in training sessions. According to Manchester United’s head coach as a player, you have to reach a level every day in order to be selected in the front line.
“Jadon, on his performance in training, was not selected. You have to reach a level at Manchester United every day and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game, he was not selected.
However, Sancho responded to the comment made by Manchester United’s head coach and stated that he had been scapegoated.
“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue”.
“I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.”
“I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”. He said.
