Ghanaian rapper EL has revealed in a recent interview that, it was all a big lie when he said he used to be a delivery guy in America.
Recounting back on what he said previously, according to him, there was a point where he had to work as a food delivery guy in the US just to keep himself going.
“Time teaches you so many valuable lessons and it changes you, especially when you go through a few things. I’ve passed through before. There was a point in time in the States I had to start doing food delivery. Yeah, it was that deep. I delivered food door to door just to keep myself going,” he said in the interview.
Speaking further he added: “I’ve actually passed through things and that stuff teaches you things like humility. So anytime I see an artist and they come to me for advice the first thing I tell them is cool down, you know see anything yet,”
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, the rapper set the record straight that it was all an agenda, he had to do that for a brother and shared how he regretted doing that.
“It was an agenda we were doing, it was a small format we were doing, I don’t have to do that, but it one of those things. I do regret it, in a spur of the moment you actually get carried away”, he disclosed in the interview.
Speaking further he added that he had thought of doing something like that, but he would never be a delivery guy.
“I actually have taught about doing stuff like that, but I will never do that, I will really really never. I’ve been on drive-along with friends who do stuff like that, so I consider myself to be part of that whole vibe, but I didn’t do it personally.
