Hajia 4Reall, a popular Ghanaian singer and social media personality has deactivated her Instagram account with over four million followers. This happened after she admitted to being involved in a $2 million romance scam on February 21.
She was accused of being part of a group in Ghana that committed fraud against people and businesses in the United States, particularly through romance scams. In May 2023, she faced six charges for her alleged role in these activities.
Hajia 4Reall pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiring to receive stolen money, which can lead to a maximum of five years in prison.
Before admitting guilt, she had already deleted all the content on her Instagram page. Following this, with many social media users curious about the trending news, many decided to look into her Instagram account. Unfortunately, in an attempt to view her account social media users and fans of Hajia 4Reall received feedback that “The page had been removed”
As part of her legal resolution, Hajia4Reall agreed to give up $2,164,758.41 and pay the same amount in restitution. Currently, she is waiting for the court’s judgment in this case.
