Ghanaian footballer, Mohammed Kudus has been spotted on social media several times enjoying Stonebwoy’s music. In his latest interview, he revealed why he loves the Bhim CEO’s music.
Stonebwoy who is currently on a tour in Europe ahead of the release of his 5th Dimension album on 28th March 2023 visited Mohammed Kudus, where he happened to be interviewed by the Ajax media team.
In the interview, Kudus revealed that Stonebwoy has been his favorite artist in Ghana for a long time, right from his former football club team in Denmark. Speaking further, he disclosed that he draws inspiration from Stonebwoy’s music.
“I relate to the lyrics, most of his songs are spiritual to me, and I think you [Ajax] got to know him from when I got to injured and I was playing most of his song in the rehab times. I just relate to the songs spiritually and most of it on how it can impact on myself” He said.
Kudus went further to, express how music plays an important role in his life, especially when he needs motivation or inspiration.
“80 percent of our football life journey depends on music. We travel to games and on the bus we listen to music, flights too it’s music. Even in the dressing room before games it’s music. [Music] is all around the work I do so I need to listen to the right stuff and the stuff that can really touch me and uplift my soul in the work I do.”He said.
Stonebwoys also appreciated Kudus for making him and his music popular in the camp of Ajax.
“I thank him [kudus] for adding his brand power to actually elevate the same sound that elevates him. It shows a lot of people where we are from, it makes them want to know our story.”
He went further to state that, Kudus is a representative of Ghana and Africa as a whole, so whatever he showcase means it is a good thing and it adds more value to it. And for that, he really appreciates Kudus for that.
