Charterhouse Productions, a company owned by Nigerian business magnate Iyola Ayoade and his Ghanaian wife Theresa Ayoade, organizes the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), now known as the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). Held this year at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, the scheme celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1999.
The Telecel Ghana Music Award is the biggest award recognized by Ghanaians and the music industry in Ghana. It is one of the awards schemes that is highly esteemed by Ghanaians.
