A Young Student at Aburi Senior High School Dies Due To Negligence From School House Mistress.

In a heartbreaking incident at Aburi Senior High School, a young girl lost her life on the 4th of February, a Sunday, due to alleged negligence on the part of her house mistress. The sorrowful event has left the school community and the public in shock and mourning.

The deceased, whose name has not been disclosed to the public, was reported to have been severely ill within the school premises. According to reports, her father received a distressing call from the school, notifying him of his daughter’s severe condition.

He rushed to the scene within 34 minutes, only to find his daughter lying unconscious on the floor, with the house mistress reportedly present.

In a state of shock, the father quickly took his ailing child to the Tete Quarshie Memorial Hospital in Mampong, making desperate attempts to revive her on the way. Unfortunately, upon reaching the hospital, the doctors sadly said she had already passed away before they got to the hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the student’s death have raised questions about the handling of the situation by the school authorities. The grieving father expressed his disbelief and pain, questioning why the house mistress did not take immediate action to ensure the child received prompt medical attention before contacting him. 

Adding to the family’s distress, the school allegedly offered to purchase a coffin for the deceased student. Such a gesture, delivered at a time of immense grief, was met with disbelief and sorrow by the mourning father.

The cause of the student’s death is unknown, according to the hospital until an autopsy is done they do not know the cause of her death. 

In the wake of this tragic incident, the bereaved father has vowed to pursue legal action against the school, seeking justice for his departed daughter.
