The TV3 Talented Kids season 14 ended gracefully and joyously as Abigail, a seven-year-old hearing-impaired dancer, and part of the contestant emerged as the winner of the competition.
The 14th season of the talented kids’ show started with 16 children, and gradually, only six contestants remained for the finals. They were in the persons of Thatness kids models; Emily, a poet; Abigail, a dancer; and Raman, the only male contestant and a singer.
The grand finale happened at the Accra Conference Center on April 16, 2023, and was massively attended. Each contestant came out with their A-game and blew the minds of both the judges and the attendants who were present to support them.
The judges, Okyeame Kwame, Nii Tete, Auntie Emilia, and guest judge Empress Nana Ama McBrown, were thrilled by the awesome and wonderful performances of the contestants. They gave remarkable comments for each performance.
At the end of the show, Abigail emerged as the winner of the 14-week program shown on TV3. The little, hearing-impaired, and adorable dancer has proven that disability is indeed not inability. She went away with a cash prize of GHS 10,000, an educational tablet, and GHS 2,000 worth of products from the title sponsor, Indomie. Her school also was presented with an award.
Even without hearing, Abigail was sure she followed every tune and step of the music given her to dance to, and this won the hearts of her supporters and fans, who now love her more. Her trainer did well by bringing the best out of her. Her energy, facial expressions, movements, and joy, which she used in exhibiting her talent on the show, drew more love to her.
Abigail hail from Prampram in the Greater Accra Region and she’s a pupil of the Vitnaya Academy in Prampam. She did well and deserved to win. Congratulations to her, and I hope she becomes a motivation for those who have given up on life.
