Abigail, the remarkable winner of the 14th season of Talented Kids, finally met her mentor and dance inspiration, Afronita, from the renowned DWP dance group. This long-anticipated meeting took place at 3Mediastudios.
Abigail’s victory on the stage of Talented Kids had captivated audiences worldwide. Her dance performances were not only mesmerizing but also groundbreaking, as Abigail faced a unique challenge throughout her journey in the competition due to her hearing impairment.
Despite this obstacle, her passion and dedication to dance have never wavered, inspiring countless individuals around the globe.
Afronita, a prominent figure in Ghana’s dance industry, expressed her amazement upon meeting Abigail. She revealed that when she first saw Abigail perform on television, she was completely taken aback by the young dancer’s incredible talent. What made it even more astounding to Afronita was Abigail’s ability to dance to songs with such precision despite her hearing impairment.
“I was very surprised because I hadn’t seen her anywhere on my timeline but I saw her after the show, I saw her when TV3 posted her online and I was like wow, who is this girl? Because the feeling I had when I watched her video was something else. And I just knew I had a role to play in her life. So I commented that I wanted to meet her. She said.
“I’m personally touched because I saw a comment that said disability is not inability and I didn’t know that she had anything wrong with her so I saw that comment and I was like wow. If she is able to be this passionate about dance even with her condition then it means that she is a special one”. She further explained.
Abigail, with her bright smile and unyielding spirit her eyes gleaming with excitement, exhibited her joy and heartfelt gratitude for meeting Afronita, it was a dream come true for the winner of Talent Kids’ 14th season.
