The Ghanaian High life musician and songwriter express gratitude to the young Ghanaian musician, Black Sheriff.
The 24th VGMA’s Artist of the Year, Black Sheriff sang a few lines of Adane Best hit song “George” during his Thanksgiving speech. A gesture that surprised the “Mafio” hitmaker.
Adane Best, showed his gratitude to Black Sheriff, during a live phone-in interview on the radio on The Day Show with Berla Mundi
In the interview, Adane best was quizzed, if he had any idea that he would perform at the 24th VGMA without him being there. According to him, he was working in the studio on his album about releasing and had no idea Black Sheriff will sing his song.
“Last Saturday night I was in the studio working on my latest album I didn’t know he was coming to sing my song.”
Speaking further he said, “I thank him for letting the whole world know that he loves me, God bless you [Black sheriff]. This is just the beginning.”
Adane Best ended his statement with “We will talk at home” a gesture that sparked up the notion of a potential collaboration between the two Artists.
