In the Ghana dance industry among the few female dancers putting the industry on the map is Afronita, with her energy, flair, and smile in her dance moves have garnered her so much audience not only in Ghana but across the globe.
Early Life And Education
Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah popularly called, Afronita is a professional Ghanaian dancer. She teaches dancing and influences brands. She was a student at the well-known Ghanaian dance academy called Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy, which she left sometime in January 2024 after enrolling there in 2018 at the age of 14.
Afronita was born in Accra On November 30, 2003, in Ghana, at the Lakeside Clinic. She was raised in Kokomlemle for a portion of her childhood and, at the age of 14, her family relocated to the Airport Residential Area. She is the eldest of three children and twenty years old. Afronita is a native of Ghana’s Central Region, namely Cape Coast.
Afronita completed her Junior High School (JHS) at Ridge Church School in Accra where she started her dance career. She then continued her Senior High School and completed at Wesley Girls’ Senior High School in the central region where she studied Business. Her education did not end her as she is currently pursuing her first degree in Business Administration at the University of Ghana (Legon)
The Beginning Of Her Career.
Afronita started her career journey of being a professional dancer at the age of 14 when she was discovered by the popular Ghanaian dancer Dancegodllyod, who was later introduced to Dance With Purpose Academy.
She started her dance training and moves on her own by watching YouTube videos and practicing the moves on her own.
She officially joined DWP Academy after completing her Junior High level, and with her zealousness and passion for dance, she has become of become one of the finest dancers in the industry. This has gained her so many ambassadorial deals with different companies.
However, Afronita has not only limited herself to dance but has also explored other careers such as acting. She has featured movies and series such as Sugar, Leg Work, “Spice and Sauce 3”
Afronita is currently living her dream of teaching kids how to dance, which is seen in her establishing her dance academy called Afrostar Kids Academy.
Personal Life And Family
Afronita comes from a family of five including her parents, She has two siblings, a brother, and a sister. Their names are Nhyira and Elvis Yeboah.
Afronital has made it clear on most interview platforms that she is single and for now wants to focus on her dreams and accomplish them.
