Amerado And I Are Not On The Same Level- Lyrical Joe.

Ghanaian rapper, Lyrical Joe has set the record straight that rapper Amerado is not on the same level as him, even though they have both won the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Best rap performance.

The two rappers, for the past months, have been in unending contention, which began when Lyrical won the last year’s VGMA best rap performance. Both rappers started throwing shades at each other on every platform they found themselves. 

This resulted in back-to-back diss songs from the camp of both rappers that garnered the attention of social media users. 

Prior to the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Lyrical Joe was very confident of winning this year’s best rap performance, unfortunately, the “Abotre” hitmaker won that category. 

Lyrical Joe and his fans could not hide their disappointment and took to social media to voice their opinions.

In an interview on Ameyaw TV the “Betrayal” hitmaker stated that even though Amerado has won the best rap performance, he is not on the same level as him.

“We both award-winning as for that one is true, rappers know we are not equal, is not everyone that wins VGMA  rap performance it takes a whole lot. So if it comes to that plaque he has one and I have one. So definitely we are both award-winning rappers, but are we both the same rappers? No.” He said.
