As Men, Polygamy is “In Our DNA.”-Ofori Amponsah

Ghanaian highlife artist and songwriter, Samuel Ofori Amponsah, popularly known as Mr. All4Real, has ignited a spirited debate by asserting that polygamy is an inherent trait in the DNA of every man.

His recent statements have sparked controversy, delving into the complexities of relationships and societal norms.

Ofori Amponsah boldly expressed his belief that polygamy is a natural inclination for men, suggesting it as an inherent trait while acknowledging the challenges it presents.

Despite this inclination, he also acknowledged the possibility for a man to choose monogamy, especially if he finds solace and peace with one woman.

Reflecting on personal experiences, Amponsah shared how witnessing his father’s situation instilled fear in him. He emphasized his viewpoint, stating, “Considering all the women in the world, I don’t think it was intended for a man to marry just one.”

In a revealing interview with Zionfelix, the ‘Otoolege’ hitmaker opened up about his own marital experiences, admitting to multiple failed marriages. He clarified that the divorces were initiated by the women, attributing their decisions to his perceived ‘bad-boy’ image.

This self-identification stemmed from his deep passion for music and his tendency to spend considerable time in solitude, focusing on his craft.

Despite his tumultuous past relationships, Amponsah proudly disclosed his current marital happiness with Serwaa, underlining the strong emotional connection they share.

He reiterated that he never instigated the dissolution of his previous marriages and highlighted the challenges of finding the right partner, especially within his line of work. He stressed, “If God doesn’t choose a wife for you in this line of work, you will suffer in life.”
