Asamoah Gyan supports  Funny Face with a thousand Ghana Cedis

Ghanaian comedian Funny Face recently disclosed the challenges he has faced, attributing them to mental health issues and difficulties securing ambassadorial deals due to alleged sabotage.

A custody dispute with his wife further intensified his struggles. Despite overcoming mental health issues, he faced criticism for discussing past experiences with companies, impeding his ability to secure deals. Funny Face urged individuals to learn from their mistakes and not compromise their opportunities.

In a notable turn of events, legendary Ghanaian football player Asamoah Gyan came across Funny Face’s post and generously gifted him an amount of GH 1000. Gyan not only extended encouragement but also called on others to contribute to support the comedian, garnering attention on social media.

In response, Funny Face expressed gratitude for Asamoah Gyan’s gesture via his social media platform. Public reactions varied, with some perceiving Gyan’s kindness, while others questioned the necessity of support for someone with Funny Face’s exposure and network.

“How? He get house, he get car, he get deals, he get the fame, he get followers, he fi start skits sef etc to make money, plenty people dey need the money pass am Baby Jet” A social media user with X handler @qwequpoku commented.

Certain individuals deemed the gifted amount as insufficient, suggesting that, given Asamoah Gyan’s stature, a larger sum would have been more appropriate. This prompted comparisons with their capacities to contribute, with some asserting they could contribute more than three times the amount presented by Asamoah Gyan.
