Instagram, like every other Social media platform, enables and enhances socialization. What this means is that all kinds and manner of people have access to your page and profile especially when your page is open to the general public( not a private account).
On Instagram, people can follow you and see your posts and stories, and you can also follow your friends or people who post things of interest to you.

Here is how to block someone on Instagram
- Open the Instagram app on your IOS or android device or open a browser and navigate to the Instagram website ( that’s if your device doesn’t support the Instagram app)
- Using either the search function or browsing through your list of followers and following, find and load the profile of the user account that you want to block.
- Tap on the three(3) dots (menu) at the upper right corner of the screen.
- From the pop-up menu that appears, select block.
- A confirmation box will appear. Tap block and then dismiss.
Congratulations. The user account has been successfully blocked on Instagram.

Here is how to check your blocked list on Instagram
- Open your Instagram app on your Android or iPhone.
- Go to your profile and Tap on the Menu icon (3 dash on the right corner).
- Tap on Settings and Select privacy.
- Tap on blocked accounts.
You can now see a list of people you have blocked on Instagram. Tap unblock to start unblocking those you want to see on your profile again.
