How To Create An “Add Yours” Story On Instagram

Are you an active Instagram user like me? If you are then you may have realized people are now posting stories using the “Add yours feature”.

With the Add Yours feature on Instagram, users are now able to create photo prompts and other Instagram users can add their own photo stories to that thread. For example, someone can create an add yours about “Last screenshot” where other users can also add the last screenshots they took on their device.

Although this sounds like fun, only a few people are able to create it and that is why in this article, I am going to walk you through the entire process of how to create an “Add Yours” story on Instagram.

How To Create An “Add Yours” Story On Instagram

Open the Instagram app on your device and log in with your username/phone and password if you haven’t already
Tap on Your Story in the top left corner of the screen
Snap a quick photo or select an already-existing photo from your camera roll or any other photo album
Tap on the square smiley face sticker icon in the top right corner next to Aa
Tap on Add Yours
Write the prompt for your “Add Yours” and select Done afterward. For example, the last photo you took with your phone
Finally, tap on the Your Story button in the bottom left corner to post this on your Instagram Story
