Davido’s performance made him the second Nigerian artist to have the opportunity to perform at the BET Awards, after Fireboy DML who was the first Nigerian artist to perform last year, with his hit song ‘Peru’.
Meanwhile, Davido couldn’t hide his joy in having the opportunity to perform at such a prestigious event as expressed his joy in a prior interview with Billboard’s Neena Rouhani, about his performance.
“I feel good performing tonight. It should be big. It should be amazing; it’s the first time I’m performing at the Awards, and I’m excited.” He said.
