Davido Thrills Audience At The BET Awards Night

Davido, a Nigerian music Icon, once again proved why he is one of the biggest stars on the African continent with his superb performance at the BET Awards. 

The prestigious ceremony is held annually to appreciate excellence in music, entertainment, and sports.

Davido has gained global recognition and he is one of the beacons of African music, his appearance at the BET Awards is evidence of Davido’s rising global influence.

By delivering an unforgettable performance, he further established his status as a global superstar and ambassador for African music.

He immediately captivated the audience with his presence. The crowd erupted with excitement as he kicked off his performance with his ‘Feel and ‘Unavailable’ hits songs from his latest released album ‘Timeless’.

Backup dancers added an extra layer of spectacle to the performance, creating a visually stunning experience with the ‘Unavailable’ dance challenge on the stage

Davido’s performance made him the second Nigerian artist to have the opportunity to perform at the BET Awards, after Fireboy DML who was the first Nigerian artist to perform last year, with his hit song ‘Peru’.

Meanwhile, Davido couldn’t hide his joy in having the opportunity to perform at such a prestigious event as expressed his joy in a prior interview with Billboard’s Neena Rouhani, about his performance.

“I feel good performing tonight. It should be big. It should be amazing; it’s the first time I’m performing at the Awards, and I’m excited.” He said.
