Ghana Black Stars arrived on Tuesday, 21st March 2023 to start training for the upcoming 2023 African Cup Of Nations. The training was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
In all, 25 players were selected to play in the pre-AFCON friendly match by Coach Chris Hughton, the new Black Stars Coach who was unveiled on Sunday, 20th March 2023.
Their first match will be on Thursday, 23rd March 2023, against Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. After the match with Angola, the Black Stars will travel to Luanda on the 27th of March, 2023 to face Palancras Negras for the African Cup Of Nation qualifiers.
In honor of their former team member, The Black Stars paid their last respect to the late Christian Atsu during training.
