Asafa Powell, a former and word record holder Jamaican athletics, in interview has expressed his displeasure with Ghana for the absence of fractures in the Ghanaian athletics.
In an interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Asafa Powell, who is married to a Ghanaian woman named Alyshia Miller-Powell and has two adorable children named Cislyn Powell and William Powell, expressed his disgust and disappointment in the Ghana athlete.
Even though Ghana is one of the best African countries for producing trained and best sportsmen and women, the country has poor infrastructure when it comes to athletics, according to the former Jamaican world retired athlete and record holder, who set the 100 meters twice between June 2005 and May 2008 with times of 9.77 and 9.74 seconds.
He thinks that young and future athletes need more support in order to practice and concentrate, hence more and better opportunities should be made available to them by LOC and the Government of Ghana.
