Ghanaians Don’t Make Me Their Priority When It Comes To Artists – Kelvyn Boy.

Ghanaian afrobeat singer Kelvyn Boy shared intriguing but sad motives behind his music career in an interview with Andy Dosty.

Most artists in Ghana always, one way or the other have problems when they are not given the attention they think they deserve. This mainly causes anxiety and depression on the side of the artist. 

Kelvyn Boy Outdoor’s new project titled “For The Kulture” gained him the opportunity to discuss his project on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty.

However, during the discussion, Andy Dosty raised a concern that his name does not appear when it comes to recognizing music composers or writers. He went on to ask Kelvyn Boy if it hurt.

The “Mea” hitmaker response and reaction to the concern raised by the host, revealed he has always been aware of how Ghanaians see him and how they treat him.

According to him since the beginning of his music career, he has not received the kind of attention and support Ghanaians give to other artists. His side has always been gradual and he has no problem with that since all fingers are not the same.

“It doesn’t really hurt, me when it comes to artists in Ghana, they don’t really make me priority like that, yes I know, like when I came I did not receive the attention, like the others [artists]”.

“But my own is like gradual and even I got a lot of fight and all of that. With me I am different and I understand because all fingers are not the same”. He said.
