Hilda Baci Dethroned As The Longest Cooking Marathon Record-Holder.

Hilda Baci, hailing from Nigeria, had her moment in the spotlight when she was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records on June 13th as the reigning record holder of the cooking marathon. 

Her remarkable feat involved cooking non-stop for an astonishing 93 hours and 11 minutes, an accomplishment that surpassed the previous record held by Chef Lata Tondon, who had cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes. 

However, a surprising twist in the culinary world occurred when the Guinness Book of Records announced that Hilda Baci had been dethroned by Alan Fisher from Ireland. Operating a restaurant in Japan, Alan Fisher managed to cook for an astounding 119 hours 57 minutes, leaving many Nigerians disheartened by the change in record.

Meanwhile, the news of Hilda Baci’s dethronement sent shockwaves not to only Nigerians but the world as well and ignited discussions on social media. Nigerians, who had eagerly followed her journey and celebrated her initial success, expressed their collective disappointment and surprise.
