Hilda Baci Sparks Controversy: Declares  Nigerian Jollof Better Than Ghanaian Jollof.

The age-old debate over who reigns supreme in the realm of Jollof rice has once again set social media ablaze. Hilda Baci recently made waves by controversially declaring that Nigerian Jollof surpasses its Ghanaian counterpart in taste and flavor.

In a podcast discussion that swiftly captured attention across various social media platforms, Hilda Baci, who had previously held the prestigious title of Marathon cooking record holder in Nigeria, boldly expressed her preference for Nigerian Jollof. Her proclamation immediately ignited a fervent and passionate response from both Ghanaian and Nigerian netizens.

According to her, she has seen different kinds of recipes for Ghanaian Jollof and has competed with a Ghanaian chef who presented his best version of Ghanaian Jollof, in view of this she can conclude that Nigerian Jollof is better than the Ghanaian Jollof. She stood firm in her belief that Nigerian Jollof reigns supreme in taste and flavor.

“Nigerian Jollof is actually better than Ghana Jollof, I have been to Ghana, I have eaten their Jollof, I have done a competition with a Ghanaian chef that made his best Jollof and I have seen the recipe,” she said.

Acknowledging the uproar her statement generated among Ghanaians, Baci emphasized that Nigerians are known for their bold and robust flavors, especially when it comes to Jollof rice.

However, her assessment, drawn from firsthand experience and comparative analysis, led her to the conclusion that the Nigerian version of Jollof rice triumphs over the Ghanaian version.
