How To Change The Default Apps on iPhone

Have you tried to change the default apps on your iPhone before? Before the introduction of iOS 14 and iOS 15, many people believed that iPhones restrict the freedom that the device users have. This was and is still true to some point but at the same time, it is also beneficial.

Unlike most Android devices where users could tweak their devices to how they want them to look, iPhone users are not able to do. This has resulted in a decrease in iPhones contracting viruses as compared to some of their Android counterparts.

With the introduction of iOS 14 and 15, iPhone users are no longer handcuffed when it comes to some settings. The list is long, but this guide is going to focus on how to change the default apps on iPhone.

What Are Default Apps?

Default apps are those which come already installed on the device and have been automatically configured for performing specific tasks. For example, on the iPhone, the default music player is the Apple Music Player, and the default mailing app is the Mail app.

Prior to the launch of iOS 14, these default apps could not be changed on iPhones but now these default apps can be changed to the preferred apps of the user’s choice.
