Text messages are the way most of us communicate with our family and relatives no matter where they live or reside. There are several messaging apps on the internet, but each person has their favorites and their reasons for choosing them.

There are some messages that can’t just be kept on your device and as such need to be forwarded to other people as well. Most text messaging apps have a feature that allows you to forward your messages to other people.

This short guide is going to walk you through the steps on how to forward text messages on Android using different apps.

How To Forward Text Messages on Google Messages

• Open the Google Messages app on your Android device

• Open the conversation containing the message you want to forward

• Press and hold the message and select the three (3) dot menu in the upper right corner

• Select Forward and from the list of recently contacted persons, choose who you want to forward the message to

• If the person you want to forward the message to is not in the list, tap on New message

• Choose the person you want to send it to and the message you want to forward

• Tap the Send button to forward the message

How To Forward Text Messages on Samsung Messages

1. Open the Messages app on your Samsung device (except for the recent Galaxy flagships)
2. Open the conversation containing the message you want to forward
3. Tap and hold the message you want to forward and tap on the Forward option
4. Search for the recipient in the Contacts tab and tap Done afterward
5. From here, you can edit the message to the way you want it before sending it
6. Finally, tap on the Send button to send the message to the select recipient(s).
