Snapchat is one of the most widely used social media apps. With over 300m users per day, it is not surprising to see Snapchat top the ranks to become one of the most popular social media apps of our time.
Apart from the usual “text messaging” on Snapchat and other social media apps, Snapchat allows us to send “Snaps” in the form of pictures or video “messages” to our friends or family.
On Snapchat, you mainly talk with images/videos, which is a cool feature to have.
Being able to “Snap” isn’t the only interesting thing to do on Snapchat. In 2016 Team Snapchat announced a new feature called Snapstreaks or Streak which encourages “intimacy and retention” amongst friends on Snapchat.
A Snapstreak is when two friends send each other a Snaps at least once every 24hrs. Snapchat records every streak sent and gives a score for that.
To see you are on a Streak with a contact, Snapchat places a fire emoji beside the contact and a score to alert you to keep the fun going.
Unfortunately, sometimes after maintaining the highest Snap score, your Streak may disappear due to an error.
In today’s tutorial, we will be looking at how to restore your Snapchat Streak or Snapstreak.
Things to note
Snapstreaks has rules. You need to make sure you followed all the Snapchat Streak rules which state that: you should keep in contact with your friend for 24hrs.
Although Snapchat doesn’t send reminders of your current Streak end date, you have to keep in touch to maintain it.
How to get back your Snapchat Streak
