Google Chrome is one of the most used web browsers in the world. Even most devices come with this browser already installed on them and as a result, most people tend to use it often.
Aside from the many benefits that come with Chrome, there are sometimes some issues that seem difficult to resolve especially when you have no idea how difficult the problem is or otherwise. One of such problems is how to restore your tabs.
Due to some reasons usually beyond your control, your Chrome browser may crash in the middle of you doing something important on your device. When this happens, the only option you have is to close the app and re-open it again.
When you are re-opening it and you are lucky, you will see Re-open Last Session which will open all the last tabs you opened before the crash. In situations where this option is not provided, then you’d have to use your technical skills.
Whether you have the technical skills or not, after reading this article, you will find out how to restore your tabs on Chrome when the re-open last session option is not provided. This guide will be very short and straightforward.
For Windows, use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+T and the most recently closed tabs will open. Likewise, Mac users can also try using the shortcut Command+Shift+T.
If the tab doesn’t come back to normal after this, then you can use the shortcut for the History tab to see if all the closed tabs will be there. You can use the shortcuts Control+H or Command+Y on Windows and Mac respectively.
