How to view Google Search History Android, iPhone 2022

Ever at the point where you need a history of all websites or webpages you visited a while ago? Sometimes it could be very daunting & frustrating when trying to access a website or web page you visited a moment ago on your phone, but you are having problems remembering it on your PC or phone.

Fortunately, you are not alone. The Good news is that Google keeps track of all websites and links you visited; or every activity you did on Google partner apps(Youtube, search, Maps, etc.).



In today’s tutorial, we will look at how to use Google search history to find any web pages and revisit them again.

Pro-Tip-: To do this: you need your Google account to be signed in and synced with all your devices. Google keeps a history of every activity on the web, thus viewed images, videos watched, an app used, blog posts read, product searches, etc.

How to view google search history with your Google Account with a Laptop(Mac or windows)

Accessing your Google account history is simple and can be done by any device with a browser. You will need to be signed in with your Google account first.

  • Open your browser, and on the Google homepage, sign in if you’ve not signed in already.

  • Click the profile icon at the top-right corner and select Manage your Google Account.

  • Tap Data and Privacy tab.

  • Scroll down from the things you’ve done and places you’ve been.
  • Tap My Activity.
  • Google will load all your web history from all partner apps. You can search and filter results if wanted.

This is a good option if you want to see and review every activity you’ve done with your Google account.

How to view Google search history on Android

1. Open the Google App and sign in.

2. Tap on the profile icon on the top right corner

4. You can now see the history of every activity you have done on Google provided synced all your device.

  1. Open Chrome and tap on your profile icon at the top right corner

  2. Select your profile and tap

  3. Tap on your Google account again and select Manage Account

  4. A new menu will open; select Data and privacy.

  5. Scroll down and select My Activity.

  6. You can now access a history of all your Google activities

Revisiting your Google account history will come in handy as you work on Google becomes a lot in a process making you lose track of some things you did on Google. 

Fortunately, Google saves everything you do on the web for you; whether Youtube, Maps, or Google Play Store, you will find a history of all your activities. If you don’t want these options too, you can delete your Google search history to clear every information Google has about you.

Another reason may not be seeing your search history is that you may have activated auto delete for your Google history. You can turn it off by visiting “My activity”.

Yes, you can recover deleted Google search history by first visiting the “My Activity” page. If there is no history there, you can search for data on your computer drive or use recovery software.
