Ghanaian Hip-Hop artist Andy Osei Sarfo, known as Kweku Flick, has revealed that he sometimes feels like he is working with spirits.
Kweku Flick made waves in the Ghana music industry when he had his first hit song themed “Money” which became an anthem for the Youth. His hit song became a stir in the music industry, gaining him more audience and increasing his fanbase nationwide.
In an interview with Kojo Sheldon the Hip-Hop artist revealed that he walks with a certain spirits.
Host Kojo Sheldon curiously asked the Money hitmaker whether he has transitioned from hip hop to rasta because of his dreadlocks.
“It all happened I woke up one day and it felt like I am walking with a certain spirit, that is how I feel. Because the feeling I am having is like, all the elders in the bible have dreadlocks so why wouldn’t also do dreadlocks, because they are all great people. Someone like Samuel, Sampson, and Solomon, are all rasta men they are all peaceful men, and they all have dreadlocks. If I want to join them I have also to get my dreadlocks so I can get closer to God”. He said.
The “Blackstars” hitmaker raised a shocking notion that, If you don’t have dreadlocks it implies your relationship with God is not effective, which implies anyone without dreadlocks is not closer to God.
“If you don’t have dreadlocks it implies that you are not closer to God. because the dreadlocks are the connection between man and God for real”. He responded
According to Kweku Flick, he is a very spiritual person, he walks with spirits and people don’t realize it, and he believes that anyone with dreadlocks is not anywhere closer to God. He also emphasizes that the Bible made that revelation to him.
