I left Home To Pursue My Dreams- Endurance Grand.

Ghanaian dancer Endurance Dzigbordi Dedzo, popularly known as Endurance Grand, has shared the origins of her dancing career.

Endurance decided not to live the dreams of his parents because, most of the time, one can not be happy living someone else’s dreams. You can only know the true meaning of happiness when you live your dreams.

In an interview with 3Music TV, Endurance disclosed that her mother’s dream for her is to be a lawyer; her father, on the other hand, supports her in whatever she wants to be.

According to the “Overdose” choreography creator, she had always wanted to be a footballer, and dancing was never her passion. In order not to back away from her dream, which she has nurtured, she left home because her mother was not supportive of her dreams.

“It wasn’t a journey when it comes to my family, especially my mom, she wanted me to be a lawyer, but my dad always supported anything I wanted to do. Looking at my talent, he even got me my first football boot, as at that time I wanted to play football. But as time went on, I had to just stand firm on my ground and decide to leave home in order to pursue what I wanted to do. I left home at a very early age.”

Speaking further, she revealed that she came from Nigeria to Ghana via boat to pursue her dreams. “I wanted to play football, so football brought me to Ghana because my mom was not in support of it. So in order to pursue what I really wanted, I had to leave home and cater for myself. But along the line, I found dance”.

In the interview, the famous Ghanaian dancer shared that she had always felt like she could really connect with Dance With Purpose Academy.

Endurance also revealed how she joined DWP by perching a friend at Tema in order to make it to the DWP audition. According to her, she went to the audition unprepared but did her best and was selected at the end of the day.
