Ghanaian comedian, actor, and content creator SDK Adele, who is making waves in the world of comedy and video skits, has shared how his parents inspired his comedy career.
SDK recently stormed the internet with his single titled, “Cameraman”. The song, meant for his video skit, became an official single when social media users demanded a full version.
In response to the public’s requests, SDK officially released the song, which was produced by a popular beatmaker named Willisbeatz and shared on several streaming platforms.
This generated a lot of interviews on different platforms for the Ghanaian comedian.
However, in an interview, he shared the journey of his comedy and video skit career and disclosed that he inherited the comedy talent from his family.
In the interview, the ‘Cameraman’ hitmaker was quizzed on why he decided to become a comedian. “First of all, I will say it is a family thing, something that goes on in my family. We are all funny, and we love to act and play around in the house”. He responded.
SDK added that he started crafting short skits with his parents. “I think it is something I picked up from my family, from my mom and my dad. I started my acting career with my mom and my dad. So I think I will say it’s from the family.
Speaking further, he said, “My mom was my camera woman who was shooting my videos for me; anytime I shoot and I need a woman character, I have to dress like a woman, but I really didn’t like it. On some few episodes, I told my mom, “You [his mother] play this side for me. We did it once, and people liked it, and I was like, “Mama, they like it; let’s do another one. So we started it, and boom”.
