Police Inspector Kills His Girlfriend Over GHS5000.

Controlling anger is very important and it should be anyone’s priority to learn how to control their anger before they do things that they can not go back to correct.

This follows an incident that happened at Adum in Kumasi where an inspector, Ahmed Twumasi popularly known as Tycoon murdered Victoria Dapaah also known as Maa Adwoa who is reported to be his girlfriend.

According to news gathered on the internet, the suspect went on the run after shooting the victim Maa Adwoa five times in the chest, he was later arrested at Sekyere in the Ashanti Region due to a special police operation that was started after the shooting incident. The suspect has spent the last few days in police custody before being charged and appearing in court.

The mother of the victim and social media users reacted to the incident and all that they seek, is justice for the victim Maa Adwoa for this reason the family of the victim is looking up to the IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare. “I am pleading with my knees on the ground for him to help us get justice. The law must be made to work. I know I can’t get my daughter back but all we need is justice.” She said in an interview on TV3. 

The sister of the victim also confirmed she was going to travel outside the country to join her baby daddy in a few weeks’ time, but it is unfortunate that it couldn’t happen due to her sudden death.

However, the suspect has finally confessed in court and has given the reasons for murdering the Maadwoa. 

According to him, Maa Adwoa refused to return an amount of GH ₵5000 she owes him when they were in a relationship. 

Inspector Ahmed Twumasi has been placed into police custody and has been charged with murder. He will reappear in court on May 30, 2023.
