Recently, Ghanaian actor, Harold Amenya found himself at the center of attention following his candid remarks about considering the adventure of a threesome, a comment that triggered both controversy and intrigue.
In an interview on UTV’s Showbiz program, Amenya’s unreserved discussion about exploring the concept of a threesome garnered significant attention. The actor, known for his candor, shared that his remarks had led to an influx of messages from intrigued individuals, unexpectedly thrusting him into a spotlight he hadn’t anticipated.
Acknowledging the number of responses in reaction to his openness, Amenya revealed that his comments had stirred controversy and sparked curiosity among audiences.
Having previously disclosed his interest in trying a threesome during a discussion on a relationship-focused show, the actor clarified that the statement was part of a broader conversation about unexplored aspects within relationships and for that matter, his statement was taken out of context.
He explained that his response was in direct reaction to a question about uncharted aspects within relationships during an interview. It wasn’t an active pursuit but rather a spontaneous response to the query.
“My comment about the threesome was taken out of context; it was not something I was actively pushing for. I was questioned during a show about what experiences I hadn’t had in a relationship, and my response included the idea of a threesome.”. He clarifies.
Expressing surprise at the extent of attention his casual remark had garnered, Amenya emphasized that the comment wasn’t a deliberate endorsement or pursuit of such experiences.
The actor, taken aback by the controversy generated, emphasized that the comment wasn’t an intentional invitation but a spontaneous remark that had been blown out of proportion. According to him, many individuals have reached out to me asking him about the requirements to be part of his threesome.
“It is pretty interesting the number of requests I have received after my comment. It was just a mere statement I made, and people have blown it out of proportion to the extent of sending me requests and asking for requirements. My wife and I were even surprised at the controversy it generated”. He said.
