Google Adsense is one of the easiest ways to make money in Ghana as a blogger. You can earn as much as $100 monthly from AdSense by selling spaces on your website to Google for advertisement.
Getting your Google Adsense approved is one of the most exciting things for a blogger. I can still recall when my initial request to start serving ads on my blog was rejected by Google.
It was just a month after starting the blog with about five (5) articles. Honestly, I had no idea there were some rules to follow to have your blog approved for Adsense.
After a month of correctly following these guidelines, I reapplied for Adsense, and my application was successful.
Today in this guide, we will look at all the dos and don’ts you can follow to start making money as a blogger in ghana with Google Adsense.
Google Adsense is a monetization platform that allows publishers to earn revenue from their online content.
It is designed for web publishers to display advertisements from Google, upon which they will earn revenue when a user clicks on those ads.
To get started with Adsense, you must create a free Google account, then submit your blog URL to Google. Google will conduct a review of your blog to see whether you qualify to start showing ads.
The review should take seven (7) to fourteen(14) days to get a response from Google.
If you’re a blogger in Ghana, here is how to get a verified Google Adsense for your blog.
Create a free Google Account if you don’t have one. You need a Gmail account to begin. Be sure the details used are official and tally with information on government-issued identity cards like the Ghana Card or Ghana Passport.
Before you can start earning with the Google Adsense network, there are some guidelines you need to follow.
However, if your blog was rejected, you can follow these steps to get Adsense approved for your blog as soon as possible.
To qualify for showing ads with AdSense on your blog, you need to make sure you are the original author of all articles present on your site(unique content). Google will not approve any site with thin content (blog posts copied from other websites).
Although the is no limit to how much money you can make for your blog with Google Adsense in Ghana, getting above $100 is very difficult.
Advertisers from Ghana pay less than advertisers from the United States pay, resulting in a lower CPC.
Meanwhile, focus on effective keyword research by creating good content for your blog targeting traffic from the USA as advertisers from those regions pay a lot resulting in a higher CPC.
The minimum threshold of what you can withdraw is $100.
