Yes, making money in Ghana as a youth is crucial, necessary, and critical. Yet, not everything we spend our time doing online can bring us some passive income.
The internet has been a great revelation in our time, and it has become a significant tool for generating passive income.
But how will we know what we can be doing to start making money online in Ghana? I’m sure this will be the question you ask yourself every day.
Of course, you may not be aware, but there are genuine ways to generate income online with just our phones or PCs.
In today’s guide, I’ll be touching on some opportunities to help us generate revenue for some day-to-day activities we can do online. The processes I’ll state don’t require you to be computer literate. Meanwhile, all you need is commitment and the ability to execute.
Fiverr is a free online tool that helps you monetize whatever skills you have. It’s good for almost everyone with skills to offer including, Graphic designers, video editors, voice-over artists, writers, computer programmers, digital marketers, etc.
Top Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur Jessica Opare Saforo is on Fiverr, where she makes money from her voice-over recordings and other skills.
Fiverr is free to set up, create your profile, and set your price for each service you offer, and just like that, you can get calls from people to render services for them without you even being present there.
You don’t necessarily have to own a blogging site to start making money online as a youth in Ghana. You can also generate some income by freelancing or writing for other blogs.
Blogging is not like mainstream journalism which requires you to have a certain level of qualification. You can write on whatever you want, provided it’s in line with the niche of your site.
You can find blogging sites that want freelance writers by adding “intitle: write for us” in your Google search query. For example, you can search for “intitle: write for us” ghana to know blogs in Ghana that are looking for freelance writers in Ghana.
You can earn as much as GHS 1000.00 per month by writing high-quality blogs for some websites.
It is one of the proven methods that is helping individuals make money online. Think of it as a recommendation you are making to someone to buy/ sign up for a particular product.
When you are an affiliate marketer, you use your website or social media handle to recommend products to other people to earn a commission on every user who buys them.
You must be convincing enough when recommending the product/service.
Affiliate marketing has no limits; you can be an affiliate partner of several companies. Build your social network and start referring others.
This is one of my favorite ways of earning money online. E-commerce drop shipping is all about selling products for someone online without having the product itself.
What you have to do is to create a profile on Jumia/ Tonaton / Jiji, etc., and consult manufacturers or distributors that you want to help them sell their products.
Anytime someone wants to buy the product from you, direct them to the product manufacturers and distributors and earn commissions. However, create products having rich search volume on these sites to get consistent sales.

Starting and managing a Youtube channel is difficult, but it is worth it in the long run.

I don’t think I should speak much on this subject. Youtube is a high-paying network that can help you make some money online. All it takes is dedication and consistently publishing video content.
Several businesses are running paid ads on Facebook and other partner advertising networks and are not getting value for money on those.
However, some individuals have learned the tactics of running high-performing ads on Facebook that can bring businesses more returns on Ads.
These individuals are then hired on contract to run high-performing campaigns for businesses on Facebook and earn some money in exchange.
You can learn these Ads skills by reading books and joining premium classes online to master the art.
Being a TikTok influencer is one of the most high-paying jobs online in Ghana now. People are creating skit content and in the process, inviting top brands to advertise on it.
According to Erkuahofficial, she has made a whopping GHS 200k so far on Tiktok after disclosing it on the delay show. She is also the most followed Ghanaian TikToker.

While there are a thousand and one ways to make money online as a youth in Ghana 2022, the driving factor here is naturing your skills and the desire to be consistent with whatever method you choose.
I didn’t mention forex trading because of its ever-fluctuating income style. Nonetheless, if the aforementioned procedures are followed correctly, they will bring you a notable passive income for years.
