A man identified as Aminu Danmaliki posted on his Facebook timeline that people have descended on him and bashing him because he married a girl young enough to be his granddaughter.
According to him, his marriage to the young lady known as Sakina has generated a lot of tension and the unfounded allegation that he married an underage girl who is just 11 years of age and it’s a forced marriage.
To defend the allegations, Mr. Aminu Danmalikia a politician from Bauchi State, confirmed his beloved wife is 21 years of age and Sakina married him out of love and not compulsion. He said the wedding was supposed to be a mute one but it was rather unfortunate that the video went viral.
“My recent marriage with Sakina has generated a lot of tension and unfounded allegations that I married an underage girl some suggesting she is 11 years old and that she was forced to marry me. That is untrue. The Wedding Video went viral. We decided to keep mute but was advised to state the true facts, here it is: My beloved wife is 21 years old she made her own choice of me as her husband and I loved her too. I hope the blackmailers and doubting Thomas’s will see the reality in this picture and leave us alone to enjoy our honeymoon.”
Well, love goes where love is and no one can decide where the heart should belong when we talk about love. Sakina fell in love and married a 66years Mr. Aminu Danmaliki. It’s time people mind their business and stop poking their noses into people’s affairs.
