The Portugal star doubled the score with a header in the first half, giving manchester city full control over the game.

Even with Manchester leading with two goals, Madrid was very optimistic about having a comeback in the second half because of their history of series of comebacks.

However, it turned out to be a night of utter humiliation as the third goal which came during the second half of the game was recognized by UEFA as an own goal by Miltao when Swiss defender Akanji’s strike hit the defender and enters the net.

Madrid fans were in their night of paradise and stunned as Alvarez capped the night with his goal making the aggregate (5-1).

Manchester has another opportunity to win the champions league for the first time in their lives. They are also likely to grab a treble this season, which includes FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League.
