There is a saying, if you want success, don’t aim for it; just pursue what you are passionate about, and it will come to you naturally.
SDK doing what he loves the most, which is crafting skits, transitioned him into the music industry, generating a lot of attention for his life.
Recently, SDK’s song “Cameraman” took over the internet. The song originally intended for his video skit was released as a single, due to social media fans’ requests for a complete version.
In response to public demand, SDK released the track, which was created by well-known beatmaker Willisbeatz and published on several streaming services.
This generated a lot of interviews on different platforms for the Ghanaian comedian.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, SDK disclosed that many artists have reached out to him, seeking collaborations on Cameraman.
“I was just doing a skit, something that I know people will enjoy. Just laugh, then we move to another one. When I did it, the pressure that was coming, release it as a song. To the point that musicians were calling me and will be like I want to be on your song”. He said.
According to the “Cameraman’ hitmaker, he has decided to collaborate with the Ghanaian dancehall artist Shata Wale out of the many artists who reached out to him. “I have chosen one, and that is Shata Wale”. He stated.
He further went on to explain why he chose Shatta Wale, “Funny enough, when I did the song he was the only artist that danced to the song, shot a video in the house, and posted it on his social media platforms. In my DM praising me, this is good. So he was like even if it’s a remix, come to the house and let’s do it”.
SDK also revealed that they have yet to collaborate and release a remix of ‘Cameraman’.
