Ghanaian social media personality and owner of the Pot of Shugatiti restaurant, Abena Serwaa Frimpong popularly known Shugatiti, made headlines on social media platforms when she filed a lawsuit against a pastor in Ghana.
According to reports, the pastor Reverend Gogo popularly known as Prophet Ekatso allegedly made defamatory comments about Shugatiti which is a “Maame Water”.
On Oman channel, the pastor alleged that Shugatiti is running her restaurant with a marine spirit. “ she is possessed by a marine spirit and all those who visit her restaurant will end up being possessed. She is a queen in the realms of the spirit. Anyone who has eaten in her restaurant and is a woman has been possessed”. He said in an interview.
He went further to state that Shugatiti possesses women who visit her restaurant by just talking to them, he also cautioned everyone who visits her restaurant to be careful.
Shugatiti responded to this statement by taking legal action against him, she argued that this statement is false and hence damaging her reputation.
In a post on her Twitter account, Shugatiti said she wants the man of God to prove the defamatory comment he made against her in court. “Members of Frank Gogo (Ekatso) church inform you, pastor, to meet me in court to prove that I’m a demon of the sea with evidence of entering the sea,” the tweet said.
