Most Ghanaians Are Lazy- Shugatiti Laments On Challenges She Faces With Her Employees.

Ghanaian YouTube personality and owner of Potofshuga restaurant, Shugatiti recently shared candid insights about her year-and-two-month experience running her restaurant.

In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix, she shed light on the challenges she faced, particularly concerning the work ethic of many Ghanaians, especially the youth.

One of the issues highlighted by Shugatiti was the prevalent complaint about the scarce jobs situation in Ghana. Contrary to popular belief, she boldly expressed her belief that a substantial portion of Ghanaians are not jobless due to government negligence but rather because of a perceived lack of willingness to work.

She emphasized that many individuals are inclined toward laziness, hindering their ability to adapt to a disciplined work routine.

In her personal experience managing her restaurant, Shugatiti recounted the recurring challenges encountered with her employees.

According to her, despite implementing measures such as salary deductions for tardiness, her employees still report to work late as she lamented the habitual lateness and complaints about the difficulty of work.

Moreover, she expressed frustration at instances where employees abruptly stopped working without prior notice, citing a lack of commitment and responsibility among certain individuals.

She emphasized the struggle faced by many young Ghanaians in transitioning from prolonged unemployment to the demands of a structured work environment. According to her observations, this difficulty in adapting to a disciplined routine has led to perceived laziness among a significant portion of the youth in Ghana.
