Ghanaian rapper E.L. reveals how his departure from BBnZ has negatively impacted his music career since 2017.
In July 2017, the musician who served as a frontliner in the past few years dropped hints of such a move but made it official during a presser.
The rapper and sound engineer said at the time that his management’s subpar performance had him considering parting ways with them. He expressed doubt about the label’s ability to promote his songs and brand.
Meanwhile, in an interview, the “ebi God” hitmaker shared how his departure from BBnZ has affected his music career, and he confidently shared that he has not been the same since his departure from BBnZ.
“I have not been the same type of artist since I have to recover over the years because they contributed a lot to my success. And I can say that because that is the truth”, he said.
He was however asked by the host if he would love to revive his relationship with BBnZ, his response was that reviving his relationship with BBnZ would not be necessary since he does not yearn for any reconciliation.
“The relationship can be revived, but I don’t think it is necessary at this point because I now have a different support system which also helped me, which I am growing with, which I am also part of developing. So I don’t yearn for any type of reconciliation”. He stated.
