How to cancel MTN, AirtelTigo, Vodafone subscriptions that may be using all up your Airtime 2022

Unknowingly subscribing to Value Added Services(VAS) from MTN, VODAFONE, AIRTELTIGO is very frustrating and may end up draining all your remaining airtime without knowing.

“My credit finishes too early” has suddenly become the usual sentence on the lips of every smartphone user in Ghana. It is no wonder mobile phone users become so angry when they find out that they have subscribed to unknown Value Added Services(VAS) from MTN, VODAFONE, AIRTELTIGO, which comes at a cost.

Value-Added Services(VAS) Subscriptions may come in the form of Quizzes, games, Quotes, news, etc.

A recent Luv News study revealed that most smartphone users in Ghana are on VAS subscriptions as high as 0.85p daily charge with no idea of how they got signed on or even how to stop these subscriptions from MTN, TIGO & VODAFONE. The study also revealed that there are about ninety-five(95) VAS subscriptions that are unknowingly subscribed to in Ghana.

To view and cancel your MTN subscription;

Dial MTN short code *175#
Select option one(1), My subscriptions.
A list of all VAS subscriptions will appear.
Select all the MTN services you want to unsubscribe.
Follow the prompts to cancel your MTN Subscriptions.

How to find out and unsubscribe to Vodafone VAS subscriptions in Ghana

To cancel or stop all Vodafone subscriptions;

Dial USSD shortcode *463# and send.
Select option one(1), My subscriptions.
Select option one(1), View subscriptions
All your Vodafone content subscriptions will appear here.
Follow the prompts to cancel your Vodafone subscriptions.

How to cancel and Unsubscribe to all your AirtelTigo VAS subscriptions

To stop or cancel AirtelTigo subscriptions:

Dial shortcode *100# and send.
Select option four(4), Content Services.
Select Deactivate subscriptions.
A list of all your AirtelTigo Subscriptions will appear.
Follow the prompts to cancel your AirtelTigo Subscriptions.
