Satya Nadella is a corporate leader who is Indian-American. He took over as Microsoft’s chief executive officer (CEO) in 2014, following Steve Ballmer. He was the executive vice president of Microsoft’s cloud and enterprise group before becoming CEO and was in charge of developing and running the company’s computing platforms.
Satya Nadella served as the Online Services Division’s senior vice president of research and development (R&D) and the Microsoft Business Division’s vice president. Later, he was named president of Microsoft’s $19 billion Server and Tools Business, where he oversaw a business and technical cultural shift from client services to cloud infrastructure and services.
