Due to the popularity of the Kaba and slit in Ghana, Ruuts Africans have taken it upon themselves to come up with a festival called Kaba and Slit Festival which is meant to be celebrated and observed annually.
Ghanaians primarily celebrate the Kaba and Slit festival as a way to showcase their heritage, culture, and fashion, as well as to network and work together with textile manufacturers and other fashion industry partners.
On this day Ghanaian ladies showcased their traditional Kaba and Slit outfits in different styles where some seem awkward but nice for instance someone wearing kaba and slit with sneakers, while, some styles showcased on the day of this festival are just wow.
