Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella teased the windows community couple of weeks ago about the “next generation of Windows” which is set to be unveiled on June 24. Nadella stated the new version of windows will feature major enhancements to the PC operating system for developers and creators.
Since its first release in 2015, Microsoft has released two updates every year for its Windows 10 operating system. The codename for this year’s update is “Sun Valley.”
Microsoft is set to reveal the details of the new update during the Microsoft event will be held on June 24. The new windows will feature new system Icons, File explorer improvements, and the End of Windows 95 icons. The new windows will also feature a revamped Windows app store that will allow third-party developers and creators to upload their apps and games to the Microsoft Store.
This will be a virtual event at 15:00 GMT on June 24. Microsoft has already sent out invitations to reporters to cover the event. Panos Panay, Microsoft’s chief product officer alongside Satya Nadella CEO of Microsoft will be presenting at the Event.
