The next-generation of Windows is big: Something to be excited about

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has promised that big changes will be coming to the next-generation PC operating system (Windows) in the next update. Nadella revealed this during the annual keynote event for Microsoft build developers.

“Soon, we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows.”

“Our promise to you is this: we will create more opportunity for every windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications. We look forward to more very soon,” he added.

New Windows Store

Microsoft intends to open its store to all developers, allowing them to submit any of their apps or games. Your favorite games and applications from all developers will be featured in the new windows. Apps such as Steam, WinRAR, and Chrome will be available on the Microsoft Store.
